Nutritional Response Testing
Nutrition Response Testing (NRT) is a non-invasive system of analyzing the body in order to determine the underlying causes of ill health. When these are corrected through safe, natural, nutritional means, the body can repair itself in order to attain and maintain more optimum health. Through Nutrition Response Testing we do not diagnose or treat disease, but we determine your healing process through two parts: the analysis and the personalized health improvement with supplementation.
The analysis is done through testing the body’s autonomic nervous system. NRT analyzes different areas on the surface of the body that relate to the state of health and to the flow of energy in each and every organ and function of the body. This information is derived from the part of the nervous system whose job it is to regulate the functions of each and every organ.
Each area that gives a response represents a specific organ, tissue, or function, and indicates the effect that energy, or the lack of energy, is having on the body. By testing these organs/areas, we have a system of monitoring your body at each visit that has proven to be extremely accurate clinically and that helps us identify exactly what the body needs and how well we are meeting that need.
Instead of connecting electrodes to the areas being tested, as in an EKG, the NRT practitioner contacts these areas with her own hand. With the other hand, she will test the muscle of your extended arm. If the organ/area being contacted is “active” the nervous system will respond by reducing energy to the extended arm, and the arm will weaken and drop. This drop signifies underlying stress or dysfunction, which can be affecting your health.
Our next step is to test specific, proven, highest-possible quality nutritional formulas against those weak areas to find which ones bring the organ/areas back to strength.
Nutritional Response Tests, dietary guidance, holistic healing with food.
When we have found the correct nutritional supplements, as indicated by this procedure, and have worked out a highly personalized nutritional supplement schedule, we have identified the most important first step in correcting the underlying deficiency or imbalance. By following the program as precisely as possible, you are well on your way to restoring normal function and improving your health. We make these highly concentrated therapeutic formulations available to you in tablets, capsules, or in powdered form to “supplement” your current diet. That’s why they are called “food supplements.” Depending on your individual situation, we might also require that you make some specific changes in your diet and eating habits, and in your routines, in order to bring about the best possible results.
In medicine, the medical doctor makes a diagnosis and then uses drugs or surgery to attack or suppress the symptom, or to surgically remove the “offending” organ or malfunctioning part. In NRT, Empowered Chiropractic use designed clinical nutrition to correct the cause of the problem, so that the body can regain the ability to correct itself.

The Power of Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic affects every part of our body. Why? Because our nervous system controls all aspects of our being, from proper organ function to the sensation of pain. So it only makes sense that we will begin to feel pain, discomfort, or notice various symptoms when our nervous system isn’t functioning correctly. Chiropractic does not rely on harsh medication or invasive surgery to treat health-related ailments, instead, it focuses on the nervous system — correcting nerve flow blockages in the spine and other areas of the body, to allow the body’s powerful natural healing power to flourish, flow, and repair itself naturally.

Beautiful, clean, and spacious. The place just feels good to be in. Dr. Mahsa is a top-quality chiropractor (and person) who deeply cares about her clients and their results. She is knowledgeable on many levels and provides a ‘mamma bear’ experience that is both comforting and caring. I feel that I am in good hands while here. I will recommend this place. P.S. The music she plays is awesome!
Dr. Mahsa is the kind of person you want to refer all your friends to. She treated my chronic back pain using a combination of techniques that was way more effective than anyone I had seen before. She has treated me, and now both my sons, for over two years. The office staff is great too. Friendly and professional and very welcoming. I always leave here feeling good.
Dr. Mahsa has been wonderful for my family and I since day one. I was referred to her by a close friend and was glad I went to see her. I’m at the gym at least 5 days a week and my back pain was interfering with my workouts and sleep. She completed an assessment and I was back on my feet in no time. Since I had such a great experience with her I brought my entire family in and they’ve been feeling great with her adjustments as well. It’s difficult to know who to go to when there are so many different chiropractors out there. I’m known to research for the “best” out there and I believe I’ve found it! I recommend you go see her.
Dr Mahsa is amazing Had a great experience here. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. This is also a very nice chiropractic office very large and filled with lots of high tech devices. She did a great job with a fully completed assessment on my body and was able to relieve lower back pain. Enjoyed all the different machines that were used to help make me feel better and relieve and prevent any future pain.
Dr. Mahsa immediately put me on an aggressive therapy and now I’m back on my training and have actually improved my time per mile. Dr. Mahsa and her staff are friendly, professional and so DAMN good at what they do. She’s like a family to us.
